Who we are
This notice covers athira.io, the website of Athira (“Athira”, “we”, “us”). If your organization uses Athira Corporate Learning or Avatar Infrastructure, the agreement with your organization also says how we handle the data processed in those products.

What we collect
We only collect what you give us or what your browser sends when you use the site:
- Demo and sales requests. When you book a demo or contact sales: your name, work email, company, role, company size, the product you are interested in, what you tell us about your team and plans, and any training material you choose to attach.
- Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe on the blog.
- Job and internship applications. Your name, email, education, your answers to the application questions, and the CV or portfolio you upload.
- Conversations with the avatar. If you talk to the avatar on this site, what you say (by voice or text) is processed so it can reply.
- Usage data. Pages you visit, links you click, your browser and device type, and your approximate location from your IP address, collected by our analytics tool.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, arrange a demo and follow up about Athira, as you ask us to when you submit a form.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for.
- To review your application. We use an AI model to extract and score information from your CV against the role's requirements, to help our team review it. People on our team make every decision about your application.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train shared AI models.
Who helps us process it
We use these service providers to run the site. Each one only processes data to provide its service to us:
- Microsoft Azure hosts the site and our database, and stores files attached to demo requests. Azure OpenAI scores job applications.
- Supabase stores CVs and portfolios.
- Resend sends our emails, including the notifications our team gets when you submit a form.
- PostHog provides our website analytics.
- Calendly handles demo bookings, if you pick a time.
- LiveKit carries the audio of avatar conversations.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Stripe processes payments, if your organization buys an Athira product.
Some of these providers process data in the United States and other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep demo and sales requests for as long as we are talking with you about Athira. We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe. We keep job applications while we are hiring for the program you applied to. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children
This site is for businesses and job applicants. It is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
